 Mission Statement
   Our non-profit research lab specializes in increasing open source software security, providing solutions that increase the reliability and security of operating systems and network components. This includes improving and augmenting existing software as well as providing new and innovative solutions to solve existing problems, covering all aspects of computer security from host security to privacy and anonymity in communications.

   We are a non-profit research lab specializing in providing open source security solutions. Our team of researchers is actively involved in improving available open source security solutions. We publish our research in peer-reviewed conferences.

 Become a OSSRL Sponsor
   OSSRL is supported by research grants and corporate sponsors, each of which has made significant financial and other contributions to OSSRL. Current sponsors are featured on the Sponsor Page.

Additional Corporate Sponsors are invited to become a part of OSSRL. There are many benefits to Sponsorship. These benefits vary depending on the level of sponsorship, and include some or all of the following:

  • Influence on project categories and acceptance policies
  • Eligibility to become an OSSRL Corporate Officer
  • Participation in the infrastructure and equipment committee
  • Preferential position for supplying equipment
  • Use of the OSSRL Brand and logo
  • Participation in OSSRL Events and Press Releases

Sponsorship rights and commitments are described in detail in the By-Laws. Financial commitments for sponsorship begin at $10,000 per year. To become a Sponsor, you will need to complete the Corporate OSSRL Member Agreement plus an Attachment that varies depending on your level of sponsorship.
